1. Introduction
ManokHub (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the ManokHub platform, a gamefowl breeder directory for the Philippines. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
Phone number (required for authentication), name, farm name, farm location (region, province, city/municipality), profile photo, bloodline specialties, and contact preferences.
Listing Information
Gamefowl details including title, bloodline, type, age, weight, pricing, description, purpose, location, and photos that you upload to your listings.
Verification Documents
Government-issued ID and farm photos submitted for breeder verification. See Section 5 for our data retention policy on these documents.
Usage Data
Listing view counts, favorites, and general interaction data to improve the platform experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your breeder account
- To display your listings and profile to potential buyers
- To verify your identity when you apply for verification
- To send OTP codes for authentication
- To improve the platform and user experience
- To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your public profile information (name, farm name, location, bloodline specialties) and listing details are visible to all visitors of the platform. Your phone number is only visible to logged-in users who view your listings, and only if you enable contact visibility in your settings.
5. Verification Document Retention
Government-issued IDs and farm photos submitted for verification are:
- Stored securely on encrypted cloud storage during the review process
- Reviewed only by authorized ManokHub administrators
- Permanently deleted within 30 days after your verification is approved or rejected
- Never shared with third parties, advertisers, or other users
We retain only your verification status (verified/unverified) after document purging. The original documents are irrecoverably deleted.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. Images are stored on Cloudflare R2 with access-controlled URLs. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
7. Your Rights Under RA 10173
As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legitimate business and legal requirements
- Object — Object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
- Portability — Request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format
8. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will:
- Deactivate your account immediately
- Delete all personal data within 30 days
- Remove all listing photos from our storage
- Retain only anonymized, aggregated data for platform analytics
9. Cookies and Local Storage
We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Your continued use of ManokHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
